About WEBP to JPG conversion
FileFy decodes the source image and writes a JPG result.
What to expect from WebP to JPG
WebP can contain transparency, while JPG cannot. Any transparency decoded from the WebP is flattened onto white before FileFy writes the JPG result.
The conversion produces a conventional JPEG image for software that does not accept WebP. Because JPG is lossy, converting does not improve the quality of an already compressed source.

File handling
The original upload is removed after processing. Each result receives a storage-based expiry period of 3 to 10 minutes when processing completes. Once assigned, that period is not shortened afterward.
