1. Acceptance of these terms
FileFy is operated by Olexar Group, referred to as “FileFy”, “we”, “us”, or “our”.
By accessing FileFy or submitting a file for conversion, you agree to these Terms of Use and acknowledge the Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you are not legally able to agree to these terms by yourself, you may use FileFy only with the permission and supervision required by the laws that apply to you.
2. The service
FileFy allows you to upload a supported file, request a compatible conversion, and temporarily download the resulting file. No account is required.
Supported formats, file-size limits, output retention periods, queue capacity, and other service features may change at any time.
3. Your files and permission to process them
You retain any rights you hold in the files you upload. You give FileFy a limited, temporary, non-exclusive permission to receive, copy, inspect, decode, convert, store, and deliver a file only as necessary to provide, secure, and maintain the requested service.
This permission ends when the relevant file content is deleted, except to the extent information must be retained to meet a legal obligation or address misuse of the service.
You confirm that you own the file or have all permissions required to upload and convert it. You are responsible for the file and for any personal, confidential, copyrighted, or otherwise protected information it contains.
4. Temporary files and no backups
Uploaded input file contents are needed only to perform the conversion and are scheduled for deletion after processing finishes. Abandoned or incomplete uploads are scheduled for cleanup after approximately 24 hours without activity.
Successfully converted files receive an expiry period of between 3 and 10 minutes. The exact period is based on current storage use when conversion completes. Once assigned, that period is not shortened if storage use later increases. The file is scheduled for deletion when its assigned period ends.
FileFy does not intentionally archive or back up uploaded or converted file contents. Once a file has been deleted or expired, FileFy cannot recover it.
FileFy must not be used as the only copy, archive, or backup of any file. Keep your original and promptly download any converted result you wish to retain.
5. Job IDs, result links, and sharing
FileFy uses randomly generated job identifiers and applies measures intended to reduce accidental discovery, indexing, caching, and referral of result URLs.
A job or result URL is not protected by an account or separate password. Anyone with the full URL may be able to view job information and download the converted file while it remains active.
You are responsible for:
- Keeping the URL private if you do not want others to access the result.
- Choosing appropriate and secure ways to share it.
- Confirming that every intended recipient is authorised to receive the file.
- Understanding that forwarded links and downloaded copies are outside FileFy’s control.
Expiry prevents future downloads through FileFy but does not delete copies that someone has already downloaded.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use FileFy to:
- Upload, convert, or distribute content that is unlawful or that you are not authorised to use.
- Infringe intellectual-property, privacy, confidentiality, contractual, or other rights.
- Upload malicious code or files intended to damage, compromise, monitor, or interfere with systems or other people.
- Attempt to access another person’s job, result, or data without authorisation.
- Bypass file limits, security controls, access restrictions, or conversion safeguards.
- Automate requests, overload the service, or use it in a way that materially interferes with its operation or other users.
- Misrepresent FileFy, resell access without permission, or falsely suggest that FileFy endorses your content or activities.
7. Conversion results
File conversion may change formatting, layout, colour, quality, metadata, formulas, fonts, embedded objects, media streams, or other features. Some source content may not be preserved or may be simplified.
You are responsible for reviewing the result before relying on, sharing, publishing, signing, submitting, or deleting an original file.
FileFy is not intended to verify the accuracy, authenticity, legality, safety, accessibility, or fitness of a source file or conversion result.
8. FileFy intellectual property
FileFy and its website design, software, branding, and original service content are owned by or licensed to Olexar Group. These terms do not transfer those rights to you.
You may use the service for its intended purpose, but may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or exploit the service itself except where applicable law expressly permits it.
9. Availability and changes
We may limit, suspend, change, or discontinue any part of FileFy, including a conversion format or active job, when reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, capacity management, legal compliance, or prevention of misuse.
We do not promise that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every file.
10. Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FileFy is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without additional warranties about availability, conversion quality, compatibility, preservation of content, or suitability for a particular purpose.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies a consumer guarantee, warranty, right, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FileFy and Olexar Group are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of the service, including loss caused by an expired file, an unsuccessful conversion, formatting changes, a shared result link, or failure to keep an independent copy.
This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
12. Suspension and enforcement
We may reject an upload, stop a conversion, remove a result, restrict access, or take other reasonable action if we believe use of the service breaches these terms, creates a security risk, interferes with the service, or may violate applicable law.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the service or applicable legal requirements change. Revised terms apply from the effective date displayed at the top of this page.
If you do not agree with revised terms, stop using the service.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to Olexar Group and the operation of FileFy. Nothing in these terms excludes any mandatory rights or protections that apply to you under applicable law.
