About WEBM to MP4 conversion
FileFy reads the WEBM content with its matching parser and writes a compatible MP4 result. Complex layout may be simplified.
WebM is transcoded to H.264 and AAC
FileFy converts WebM video to H.264 at a target 5 Mbps and converts audio to AAC at 192 kbps, placing the streams in an MP4 container.
This is a full transcode rather than a container swap, so it takes more processing and can change quality. Its purpose is wider MP4 compatibility.

File handling
The original upload is removed after processing. Each result receives a storage-based expiry period of 3 to 10 minutes when processing completes. Once assigned, that period is not shortened afterward.
