About PNG to JPG conversion

How JPG handles a PNG image
JPG uses lossy compression and has no alpha channel. FileFy places transparent PNG areas on a white background before writing the JPG, so those areas will no longer be transparent.
JPG is usually a practical output for photographs and broad compatibility. For logos, interface graphics, or images that need transparency, keeping PNG is normally the safer choice.

File handling
The original upload is removed after processing. Each result receives a storage-based expiry period of 3 to 10 minutes when processing completes. Once assigned, that period is not shortened afterward.
