About MP4 to MP3 conversion
FileFy extracts the audio stream and encodes it as MP3. The source must contain audio.
MP4 video is reduced to its audio track
FileFy discards the video stream and encodes the source audio as MP3 with a target bitrate of 192 kbps. The MP4 must contain a usable audio stream.
MP3 is a lossy audio format, so this conversion is for playback compatibility and a smaller audio-only file, not for increasing source quality.

File handling
The original upload is removed after processing. Each result receives a storage-based expiry period of 3 to 10 minutes when processing completes. Once assigned, that period is not shortened afterward.
