About JPEG to PNG conversion
FileFy decodes the source image and writes a PNG result.
What changes when JPG becomes PNG
PNG stores the decoded pixels with lossless compression and can support transparency. A JPG source has no transparency channel, so conversion cannot create one or restore detail previously discarded by JPEG.
PNG is useful for repeated editing, screenshots, and graphics with sharp edges. The output can be larger than the JPG because PNG does not use JPEG-style lossy compression.

File handling
The original upload is removed after processing. Each result receives a storage-based expiry period of 3 to 10 minutes when processing completes. Once assigned, that period is not shortened afterward.
